Throughout history major themes of the human experience have been survival and the quest to improve the quality of life.  At times, these themes have resulted in dire consequences; yet they continue to be a major component of our lives. 
      • Consequences of these themes have been:  education, supportive relationships; techniques to reduce pain and increase enjoyment; and encourage personal initiative. 
      • Facets of pain reduction have included:  family support, community healers, health professionals, educators, health experts, personal imagery, and self healing .

Holistic health is the starting point.  This is followed by an introduction to the holistic model, which includes a wide spectrum of whole life components.

       • Also introduced are interactive learning techniques, experiential education methods, and group facilitation skills.

Living Life as a Learning Process (4 of 5)
       • For many the primary motivation for life is achieving specific goals. These objectives may include: financial resources, security, marriage, children, travel, and others.  This learning module introduces the idea that the life process also includes the opportunity to learn.  
       • If we assume the existence of a soul; each life can be an opportunity to more fully integrate our body/soul.  This process may include awareness, wellness, wisdom, and practical information. 
       • The core theme is to experience events as opportunities for learning. Painful events do happen; challenges, emotional experiences, and feeling of concern will be faced by all of us.   Our intention is to develop the skills to encourage awareness, acceptance, insight, and opportunities for healing change.
