HLQ History/Activities
Mission
The HLQ organization is focused on whole life living which provides support, education and networking services. Specific activities include encouraging co-operation among similar organizations and communicating holistic concepts to our members, the general public and the media.
Wellness Movement History
The wellness movement began in the mid 1970s. The core premise is that, as we empower ourselves, we are better able to provide support for our loved ones and service to society.
The growth of the wellness movement over the past 35 years has been dramatic. Individuals have changed their perspective on health and well-being, and have given greater priority to personal and family self-care.
Today, holistic concepts are integrated into all aspects of modern society. Wellness oriented products, workshops and trainings are readily available in large cities and small towns.
